Welcome to the Chanakya University Institutional Repository
This is the digital repository of scholarly literature created by the Chanakya University community. Here, you can store and access the contributions of Chanakya University for academics and research purposes. This provides global visibility to Chanakya University’s scholarly contributions.
The repository is built on DSpace, an open-source software, and uses a community–sub-community–collection structure. Every academic department, school, research centre, a collaborative venture or a project is considered as a community, which may be further divided into sub-communities based on their requirements. The collection includes all types of scholarly materials such as research articles, chapters, books, theses, dissertations, working papers, datasets etc.
Only the bibliographic (metadata) information is openly accessible to all. Chanakya University-affiliated publications that have been published as open access will be freely available as full-text to public. For publications where copyright is retained by the publisher, access is provided in accordance with the self-archiving policies of the respective publishers.
The Chanakya University Library proudly curates and maintains this repository to ensure the long-term preservation and dissemination of the University’s Scholarly output.Click here for the Submission Guidelines

Publication Increasing the non-farm employment in Uttar Pradesh, India: A Policy Analysis(2023)Uttar Pradesh has a huge upside potential for economic growth if its people are engaged more productively. This study cursorily reviews the prospects of employment creation and argues that UP should focus on the secondary and tertiary sectors for generating self-employment opportunities. In this regard, growth diagnostics framework, developed at Harvard University, is used to analyse the possible constraints that may be impeding the entrepreneurship in the state. Based on secondary data analysis and wider consultation with many stakeholders, study provides observational conclusion that ‘access to finance’ can be a major constraint in growth of enterprises. This constraint is channelled through high-risk perception and aversion for microentrepreneurs from supply side of f inance. Additionally, other constraints such as coordination, infrastructure, lower desire for entrepreneurship among youth are also weakly identified. The study concludes with offering focused recommendations to deal with the identified obstacles in a systemic way, hitting their root causes. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Person Dr. Madhuri MukhopadhyayDr. Madhuri Mukhopadhyay is a passionate researcher specializing in ultrafast coherent spectroscopy and nonlinear optics both in experiments and theory. She believes in “eduvate,” a blend of education and innovation, and is a lifelong learner. She is a dedicated educator, she has a wide range of expertise that includes quantum mechanics, electromagnetic wave, light-matter interaction, computation, and material properties. Her recent research interests focus on the nonlinear optical behaviour of nano-photonics, controlled dissipation during exciton transport, and the application of deep learning in ultrafast spectroscopy. In her leisure time, Madhuri loves to travel and play badminton. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication E-Resources In The Digital Age: Ethical Considerations For Research Scholars Of Karnatak University, Dharwad.(2025-03)Educational institutions plays a crucial role in providing electronic resources to research scholars, students, and professionals. To ensure the integrity of licensed information and prevent malpractices, these institutions must uphold ethical standards. Additionally, they should raise awareness among users about issues such as copyright, data duplication, plagiarism, and other related concerns. This study is on Karnatak University research scholars for consideration of the ethics. Most of the respondents i,e., 41(68.3%) are aware of the copyright laws related to e-resources, only 1(1.7%) respondent never used open access resources for reference purpose and mainly this study found that the respondents i.e., 23 (38.3%) are strongly agreed the statement that yes very clearly communicated about ethical guidelines in using e-resources. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Person Dr. Shubhada R. HegdeDr. Shubhada Hegde obtained her post-graduate degree in Biochemistry from Central College, Bangalore University. Subsequently, she did her PhD at the Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), Hyderabad, in Computational Systems Biology. Further, she joined Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru as a D S Kothari post-doctoral fellow. Before her appointment at Chanakya University, she worked as a DST-Inspire faculty scientist, and later as a faculty fellow at IBAB, Bengaluru. Dr. Hegde’s group uses computational and systems biological approaches to understand disease mechanisms. Her research focus areas include systems biology, gene regulation, host-pathogen interactions, and Drug discovery.
